I have a new Wordpress website now, with updated information and such. (This Weebly one was a pain to edit). Click here to visit it.
Morganic Farm is a small, family farm located in Fife Lake, Michigan.
Hazelnut Rabbitry is my small business, basically a small branch of Morganic Farm. I have been raising New Zealands since 2009. I began raising French Angoras in 2012 when I began to become more and more interested in fiber artistry and spinning.
I hope you have enjoyed looking around! Feel free to contact me with questions or comments that you may have. You can also find Morganic Farm on Facebook.

My French Angoras: I don't show my FAs. My main interest in angoras is the fiber, which I spin into yarn and then create cozy garments with. I value the rabbits that are easy groomers, and I even have several angoras that have exceeded my New Zealands in growth and bone/meat ratio, which makes them even more of a dual purpose animal on the farm.
My New Zealands: I don't show them, either. I am learning to tan their hides and will be moving more into blue and broken NZs. Hopefully I will get a red NZ soon, too. I focus on their body type and weight.
Our practices: Our rabbits are currently fed Kalmbach natural rabbit pellets, oats, hay, and sunflower seeds. In the future we would like to transition them to sprouted grains and fodder, in replacement of the pellets.
